Moule Print believes that a healthy environment is necessary for the well being of our community, our staff and our business.
We take our environmental responsibilities seriously and as industry leaders, believe we should play a constructive role in helping to address the challenges facing the environment and to reduce our impact as a business and as individuals.
The Australian Government Department of Environment, Water, Heritage & the Arts employed Energetics Australia to conduct an energy audit at Moule Print as part of the Small Business Climate Change Action Initiative.
The findings and recommendations from this audit have helped Moule Print significantly reduce greenhouse emissions.

Actions that Moule Print has undertaken:
- Installed the new Heidelberg Speedmaster SM52 with Anicolor. The Anicolor short inking unit with ‘Print Colour Management’ reduces up to 90% of start up wastage
- Moule Print is run using 100% Greenpower (Renewable energy / no fossil fuels)
- 100% of our paper waste is recycled
- 100% of our metal printing plates are recycled
- We use vegetable-based printing inks (no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions)
- We use recycled papers and papers sourced from accredited sustainable plantation forests
Actions that Moule Print is undertaking:
Moule Print is in the auditing process of obtaining FSC Accreditation. Expected completion early 2011.
